This development comprises of a 90 berth inland marina, public berthing facilities, 74 dwelling houses, 24 apartment units, a two storey crèche building and a commercial / retail unit. The marina construction entailed the excavation of approximately four acres of inland marina and access channel off the River Shannon to a depth of 5m. These works were carried out in close consultation with the local authority and Waterways Ireland so as to avoid any impact on the immediate environment of the site, including the River Shannon.
